A perfect story

This beautiful story about a penguin accepting that he can't fly works on so many levels, and takes the reader through all the emotions that a good book should!
The story itself flows and is full of humour, there is the sad moment when he realises that he is different to his best friend and then the joy of discovering what he is really good at and what he loves to do.
My four year old doesn't stop asking questions when we read this book. As well as being a favourite bedtime story it has been very educational.
Another Julia Donaldson in the making? More please!!

A great feel good story which has been beautifully illustrated. The pictures are really colourful and artistic with new things to spot each time you read it! I'd definitely recommend this!

Fly, Freddy, fly is a top quality picturebook for young children. The artwork is brilliant, colourful, eye-catching, humourous, with most appealing and imaginative characters, especially Freddy himself.The storyline is pleasing and has a most satisfying conclusion. Altogether a great combination! Makes a lovely Christmas present!
